CJ started his building career in April 2000 as a master carpenter and his 1st company, Design Carpentry. After 9/11, CJ became a general contractor and opened a company called Design Homes LLC, then became Design Home Construction, and today is dba as L&R Builders LLC.
Our team of specialty carpenters, on-site supervisors, and project managers each brings their own unique strengths and experience to our building projects.
We create expertly constructed dwellings to each of our customers' specifications using our broad scope of abilities acquired through years of experience in the construction industry. We believe the success of a project is not judged by the quality of the craftsmanship alone, but largely by the satisfaction of our customers upon completion. We take pride in the attention we pay to our customers' concerns throughout the construction process to see their vision realized. Our goal is to see each project completed with the integrity, scrutiny, and diligence necessary to make a lasting impression.

The Family!
CJ, after immigrating from Ukraine to PNW when he was 12 years old, lived and grew up in Burien/West Seattle. He got his AA in SSCC and studied Business Law at BCC. After getting married he and his family have reside in the Mill Creek area for over 25 years.
